Having been one of very few ways to listen to music once upon a time, vinyl records have made a comeback in popular culture as music lovers collect their favourite albums – despite many turning to digital for their favourite hits. However, those records could bring more than just nostalgia to their owners.
In fact, some records are potentially worth large amounts of cash, with even more modern vinyl’s capable of holding immense value.
For collectors who have these records at home, it could be music to their ears to discover that they are sitting on a goldmine.
Here are nine of the most expensive modern vinyl’s, according to NetVoucherCodes.co.uk:
Kanye West – Graduation (2007)
It costs £250 for a new copy of the vinyl, but it is possible to snatch one up for as little as £50 second-hand.
Kanye’s long standing and successful rap career has produced many iconic tunes, with the Graduation vinyl home to classics like ‘Good Morning’, “Stronger’ and ‘Homecoming’.
Whilst some fans argue that the vinyl has mp3 quality, the iconic hip hop cover and gorgeously glossy blue and pink disks make it worth it.
