New research commissioned by Vistaprint showed that Britons make an average of £6,604 annually through side hustles and secondary income. This is a fair bit of small change, yet many simply don’t know where to get started with their side hustle. Here are the top 9 ways to make some quick, extra money online and the websites to get paid from.

While taking paid surveys won’t make someone a millionaire overnight, these paid questionnaires are generally easy and quick to do.

The survey sites will usually pay in PayPal or gift vouchers, and some of the more popular sites include i-Say, Swagbucks, Surveyeah and Toluna.

While taking online surveys won’t make you rich by any means, a few minutes of your time can earn you a few extra pounds.

It’s never been easier to become a freelancer in any field, as the lockdowns have seen side hustles rise in popularity and freelance websites along with them.

If one doesn’t have experience in their freelance field then it will be difficult at the start to get good payment out of it.

However, sites like Peopleperhour, Fiverr and Upwork are very popular because they allow people to set their own freelance prices, meaning one can slowly build up their reputation and their price list at the same time.

TEFL has a great reputation in the online teaching industry as does Tutor Hunt.

Some of the tasks include putting furniture together, running errands or helping someone move items.

Robo-advisors are the new frontier of passive investing as it puts ones investments on auto-pilot, such as M1 Finance, Betterment and Wealthfront.

Platforms like Ebay, AirBnB, Etsy and Craigslist makes it incredibly easy to rent or sell almost any item, from spare rooms to old shoes.
