For many couples, few conversations feel more uncomfortable than talking about money. But new research suggests financial discussions tend to go better than partners anticipate. In a study published in Social Psychological and Personality Science, researchers found that people consistently underestimate how enjoyable, productive and relationship-building financial conversations with their romantic partners will be.
